FLY- IN 2007

We would like to invite yourself and members of your club to a fun-fly day we are holding at Merryfield Airfield at Ilton in Somerset on Sunday 24th June 2007, you can visit our website for further details at  http://www.ilminster.net.

It will be an informal day with hopefully members from a lot of local clubs attending we have had a lot of interest already and there will be some very good flyers and models  attending.

Flying will be off the peg and we will be operating a transmitter compound flyers must hold a valid "A" certificate and for large models a "B" certificate will be required also proof of BMFA insurance, as we operate from an MOD flying site security is in operation 24hrs a day and we will need names of your members that wish to attend in advance.

We will holding a few low key competitions and have secured a few prizes from local shops to add to the fun were also having a barbeque during the day and hot drinks will be available and any profits made from the day will go to the Local Air Ambulance. 

Although this is not a public event family members are most welcome to attend please let us know as soon as you can if you would like to attend and how many members you will be bringing so we can make further arrangements.
