Plymouth Model Flying Club
  Safety Policy

•    Due to a further recent tragic event within our sport, the Safety Officers felt it was necessary to write down and record the Club’s Safety Policy and issue copies to all current and new members.

•    This policy has been written to ensure the safety of all participating Club Members and visitors to our flying site.

•    This policy has been sanctioned by the current Committee, and will be proposed for inclusion into the Club’s constitution at the AGM in November 2003.

•    It is the responsibility of all members using the field to be observant in the use of safety methods, as listed in the BMFA Handbook and Club Safety Policy and advise accordingly to others who are unaware of the dangers posed by ignorance or malpractice.

•    Some of the following safety rules will be common practice to those with experience, this is all the more reason to assist those without the required knowledge to fly safely and fly well.
